For aesthetic purposes a piece of insulation stripped from a white electrical cable can be slipped over the defogger wires. The insulation is slit lengthwise. Optionally the wires can be painted to match the wall.

 

Secure the cable to the wall using a plastic wall anchor and replace the mirror.
