Mark the top of the mirror
Step 2 Measure and cut tubing
Step 3 Removing the mirror
Step 4 Driling hole
Step 5 Mount mirror defogger
Step 6 Feed wires and tubing
Step 7 Connect the wires
Step 8 Connect mirror defogger
Step 9 Replace the mirror
Step 10 Test mirror defogger

 

 

In this installation procedure the mirror defogger will be connected directly to the light fixture above the mirror.

Note: A small piece of plastic tubing is used to conceal and protect the wires.

TOOLS REQUIRED

MATERIALS REQUIRED

  • Flat Screwdriver
  • Phillips Screwdriver (Robertson in Canada)
  • Wire Cutters
  • Wire Strippers
  • Pencil
  • Measuring Tape
  • 3/8” Electric Drill (3/8” & 1/8” Bits)
  • Hack Saw or Tube Cutter

  • Mirror Defogger
  • Cardboard (Optional)
  • #33 Wire Nuts 3/8” O.D.
  • Plastic Tubing
  • Masking Tape

 

 

 

 

 

 


In This example two large mirror defogger's measuring 19 inches by 30 inches will be installed, one above each sink behind a mirror that measures 36 inches tall by 48 inches wide.
