Step 9 - Connecting the Defogger

 

Trim the wires on the defogger to about 6 to 8 inches in length.

 

Connect the wires on the mirror defogger to the ends of the cable black to black and white to white using wire nuts. The green wire from the defogger should be connected to the end of the bare ground wire using a wire nut or under a screw terminal in the box. Tuck the wires into the box and using masking tape, fix the defogger to the wall so that the top of the defogger is at the line you drew on the wall.
